This is an enlarged 5"x20" metal print of Blake Gore's straw wrapper drawing of Hector Giacomelli's "Perch of Birds" (1880). This metal print is made by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, the image takes on an almost magical luminescence.
The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight.
The piece comes with 1/8” rounded corners and mount hangers that float the print 1/2” off the wall. No additional framing needed.
